What is cosmic radiation ?

Cosmic radiation is natural-occurring and arises from cosmic rays. Cosmic rays consist largely of streams of charged particles and carry high energy. Their origin is still not well understood, although it is generally believed that cosmic rays come from supernova explosions or from activities of distant galaxies.
