TROPICAL CYCLONES IN 2012

Infra-red satellite imagery of Typhoon Kai-tak at 2 p.m. on 16 August 2012 at its peak intensity with estimated maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometres per hour near its centre.    Kai-tak was located about 370 km south-southeast of Hong Kong at that time.
