Radar echoes captured at 2:00 a.m. on 3 October 2011. An outer rainband associated with Severe Tropical Storm Nalgae was affecting Hong Kong. The centre of Nalgae was located about 560 km south-southeast of Hong Kong at that time and was moving west-northwestwards across the northern part of the South China Sea.
