"print version"

      In response to public request, the Hong Kong Observatory launches a "print version" service for its web pages.  The "print version" only presents the main content of the web page, i.e. without the formal header and vertical sidebar of the page.  It is also designed to fit nicely on a printed page for subsequent printing.  Using this facility for printing a web page is easy.  Users can click the printer icon at the upper right hand corner and then follow the printing instructions thereafter.  One can also enter this print mode by selecting the "print version" item at the lower left hand corner of the blue vertical sidebar.
