"Cool Met Stuff" for a Warm Lunar New Year

Do you know how warm or how cold the Lunar New Year's Day could be? While an unseasonably warm start to the Year of the Horse is expected, the coming episode of "Cool Met Stuff", to be broadcast on 31 January (Friday), will look into how cold Hong Kong could be in the past and the myth about snowing in Hong Kong.

"Cool Met Stuff", a programme on weather-related topics produced by the Hong Kong Observatory and first aired on 3 January 2014, is an informative weekly programme broadcast in Cantonese via mobile platforms, internet websites and TV channels. New episodes can be viewed every Friday around 6:30 pm from the mobile app "MyObservatory", the "Cool Met Stuff" channel on the Observatory's website, or the Observatory's YouTube channel.

Current broadcast schedules (subject to possible programme changes by the TV stations) of "Cool Met Stuff" on various TV channels are:

- RTHK TV Channel 31	around 6:02pm every Friday
- ATV Home Channel	around 6:45pm every Saturday and Sunday
- Cable TV News Channel	around 6:25am, 6:55am, 10:25am, 10:55am, 2:25pm and 2:55pm every Saturday
