Mr CHEN Yung, Senior Scientific Assistant	The colleague was commended for his substantial contribution in the timely launching of the “Online Video Course on Weather Observation” during May to July 2020. His contribution has greatly enhanced the public image of the department.
Mr CHAN Kai-wing, Senior Scientific Officer Mr LAU Po-wing, Scientific Officer Mr FUNG Kwok-chu, Chief Scientific Assistant	The team was commended for making substantial contribution in the design of bollard style enclosure for automatic weather station. The design was granted a patent and subsequently filed at the Patent Registry in 2020. Their contributions have greatly enhanced the public image of the department.
Mr CHUI Ka-wing Pluto, Experimental Officer	The colleague was commended for his substantial contribution in serving as a facilitator at the online practical sessions of the workshop on “Development of Products from Numerical Weather Prediction Models and Ensemble Prediction System for High-impact Weather Forecasting” under the Voluntary Cooperation Programme of the World Meteorological Organization during 8 to 11 December 2020. His contribution has greatly enhanced the public image of the department.
Dr YEUNG Kwok-chung, Acting SSO Miss LEE Fung-ying, SO Mr TSOI Tze-shun, SO Dr CHENG Chung-choi, EO Mr CHOW Man-chung, Social Media Executive Miss YEUNG Wing-sum, Social Media Researcher	The team was commended for their substantial contribution in arranging Facebook Live of partial solar eclipse on 21 June 2020. We received wide coverage by the media and attention of the public. Their contributions have greatly enhanced the public image of the department.
Mr CHAN Sai-tick, SSO Mr HUI Tai-wai, SO Ms CHEUNG Yee-ying, EO Mr LAM Kin-yui, SSA Miss CHU Suet-ying, SA Mr LAM Ho-ching, Analyst Programmer	The team was commended for their substantial contribution in arranging joint webcast of partial solar eclipse on 21 June 2020 on YouTube. We received wide coverage by the media and attention of the public. Their contributions have greatly enhanced the public image of the department.
Mr LAU Chi-ho, RSM Mr LEUNG Chi-man, RSM	The team was commended for their substantial contribution in resuming the operation of Tate’s Cairn Weather Radar on 6 June 2020. They took up emergency maintenance and made substantial effort to get access to the radar station which was blocked by landslide, and worked for nearly 12 hours to help resuming its normal operation. Their contributions have greatly enhanced the efficiency of the department.
Mr KONG Yu-chau, SO Mr LEUNG Yin-kee, SRSM Mr WONG Tze-foon, RSM Mr LAI King-cheung, SA	The team was commended for their substantial contribution in relocation of the Automatic Gamma Spectrometry System (AGSS) and installation of a replacement AGSS on a remote island. This was the first time for the Observatory to have dual redundant system for monitoring of gamma radionuclides in the air. Their contributions have significantly improved the efficiency of the Observatory.
Mr KONG Yu-chau, SO Mr WONG Tze-foon, RSM Mr LEUNG Ting-kit, RSM	The team was commended for their substantial contribution in installing anemometers and radiation detector in vessels, enabling the Observatory to obtain real-time wind and radiation data in data-sparse sea areas from vessels. Their contributions have significantly improved the efficiency of the Observatory.

The new video conferencing facilities of MAC effectively supported colleagues during special work arrangement. Their contribution has enhanced the efficiency of the department.
Ms LAI Wing-man, Accounting Officer I Mr LEE Kam-yee, Supplies Officer	The team was commended for making substantial contribution in providing expert advice and support to the subject division in an architectural design competition co-organized by HKO. Their contribution has enhanced the efficiency of the department.
Mr SIU Kit-wai Davy, Senior Executive Officer Mr LEE Tsun-sing, Executive Officer II Miss WAN Yu-tung, ACO Mr YAU Yun-wah, ACO Miss WONG Cheuk-yiu, EO Mr CHAN Pui-kwan, CA Mr KO Tat-kuen, CA	The team was commended for their substantial contribution in the past relocation exercise to rationalize storage area and to renovate the Library area for additional office space. A new and tidy office space was handed over to users in mid-May 2020 with very good feedback. Their dedicated effort has greatly improved the efficiency of the department.
Mr HO Pak-sing, CEO Mr CHENG Yat-leung, SSA Mr SHEK Fung-sun, SA Mr LAM Chi-hon, SA Mr LEE Tsun-sing, Executive Officer II Mr YEUNG Kwok-leung, CA	The team was commended for making substantial contribution in re-installation of meteorological facilities and systems in the refurbished Airport Meteorological Office. They vacated an office area within a short period of time to meet accommodation need of Three Runway System Project Division, and improved the efficiency of the Observatory.
Mr KWOK Koon-yip, RSM Mr LAI Wai-lun, RSM Mr LING Wing-sum, SA Ms LAM Mei-sim, SA Mr AU Kwok-wai, Workman II	The team was commended for their substantial contribution in repairing the local visibility meter on Waglan Island. They stayed on the island due to changes in weather and continued to monitor the operation of the automatic weather station to ensure the provision of real-time data. Their performance was extremely appreciated.
