The Observatory will be open to the public on 27 and 28 March 2010. This year's theme for the Open Day is "Braving The Storm Together For Over A Hundred Years". You are cordially invited to come and see how we have applied science and technology to serve the public in the past century.

Starting at 4 p.m. on both days, our Director, Dr B Y Lee will autograph the new book "Director's Blog" (please see for details: http://www.weather.gov.hk/en/press/pre20100225e.htm).

All members of the public are welcome. No tickets are required but entry will be regulated if necessary.


Date and time: 27 March 2010 (Saturday) and
28 March 2010 (Sunday)

Entry Hours: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm

Exhibition venues will close at 5:15pm
Place: Hong Kong Observatory Headquarters,
134A Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon

Entrance at Nathan Road near the Tsim Sha Tsui Kaifong Welfare Association, exit via Observatory Road (see the map below)
