Traces of sea level (above Chart Datum) and storm surge (above astronomical tide) recorded at Tai Po Kau, Tsim Bei Tsui and Tai Miu Wan on 19 – 21 July 2025. The water level anomaly recorded at Tai Po Kau exhibited oscillations and those with a period of about 3.4 hours were due to resonance effect (Seiche effect) in Tolo Harbour brought about by wind and pressure changes during the passage of Wipha.
