Figure 3           Infra-red satellite imagery at around 5 a.m. on 17 August 2025. The estimated maximum sustained wind near the centre of the tropical depression was 45 km/h. Besides, its circulation was extensive, retaining some characteristics of a monsoon depression, with high winds in its periphery.
