        One tropical cyclone occurred over the western North Pacific and South China Sea in December 2010. 

        A tropical depression formed over the western North Pacific about 1340 km east of Wake Island on 19 December and moved mainly southwards. The maximum sustained wind near its centre was about 55 km/h. The tropical depression turned to move east-southeastwards across the International Date Line into the central North Pacific the following day and intensified into a tropical storm.
