Infra-red satellite imagery around 2 a.m. on 22 July 2018, when Son-Tinh re-intensified into a tropical depression over Beibu Wan. Meanwhile, another tropical depression over Luzon Strait was moving northeastwards and severe tropical storm Ampil was moving towards Jiangsu.
