Webcast for the lunar eclipse on 8 October

The Hong Kong Observatory, the Hong Kong Space Museum, the Ho Koon Nature Education cum Astronomical Centre and the Po Leung Kuk Ngan Po Ling College jointly conducted a webcast of the total lunar eclipse at Cape D'Aguilar, Sai Kung, Tai Po and To Kwa Wan respectively on the evening of 8 October. Despite being obscuredintermittently by clouds during the event,major stages of the lunar eclipse such as "middle of the eclipse", "end of total eclipse" and "moon leaving umbra" could still be observed on the internet through images captured at the aforementionedfourlocations by the webcasting teams.Highlights of the joint webcasting ofthe totallunar eclipsecan be accessed via the following link:
