CEO of UKCAA visited the Observatory

The Chief Executive Officer of UK Civil Aviation Authority (UKCAA), Mr Andrew Haines, paid a visit to the Hong Kong Observatory on the morning of 26 November 2010 while he was on a 7-day visit to Hong Kong. He visited the Central Forecasting Office and was briefed on the aviation weather services provided by the Observatory. He spoke highly on the windshear alerting services in Hong Kong and showed much interest in the "MyObservatory" app on the mobile platform.
