More than 30 delegates of the 2010 International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE) Programme together with 10 local members of the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps staff visited the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) on the afternoon of 27 July. The delegates came from 12 countries including Australia, Canada, France, Ghana, Israel, Japan, Netherlands, the Philippines, Republic of Korea, Turkey, United Kingdom and United States. This was the second time that the delegates of IACE visited the Observatory.

The delegates spent an educational and enjoyable afternoon in the Observatory, visiting the Central Forecasting Office, seeing the weather observing equipment and attending talks on aviation meteorology and the Observatory's aviation weather services. The delegates were all aviation enthusiasts and expressed interest in aviation meteorology. Committed to promoting meteorology education, the Observatory is glad to see more and more youngsters are interested in this area.
