The Hong Kong Observatory received the Web Care Silver Award

The Hong Kong Observatory participated in the e-Inclusion Campaign 2006 organized by the Internet Professionals Association and was granted the Web Care Silver Award for the third year running. The Campaign was organized to promote a barrier free Internet environment and provide the needy communities with equal opportunities in sharing the benefits brought about by the development of Internet in Hong Kong. The Care Web Award is a means to pay recognition to private and public organizations that have created websites accessible by persons with different needs. The award presentation ceremony was held on 28 October at the Hong Kong International Trade and Exhibition Centre.
