The Chief Executive of UK Met Office, Mr Rob Varley, visited the Observatory

The Chief Executive of UK Met Office (UKMO), Mr Rob Varley, visited the Observatory on 26 Oct 2015. During the visit, the Observatory highlighted to Mr Rob Varley the latest development of the Observatory on public weather service, climate service and climate change studies, and explored with him on future collaboration on various areas including marine meteorology, climate prediction and numerical weather prediction.

Mr Rob Varley also introduced UKMO's recent advances in weather and climate science, international collaborations and climate projection to the Observatory.
