2012 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE)

The Hong Kong Observatory has once again been awarded a Certificate of Merit in the Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) Sectoral Awards Scheme (Public Organizations and Utilities Sector). The Sectoral Awards Scheme aims to encourage organizations to adopt green management; to benchmark their commitments towards best practices within their sectors and to acknowledge the efforts of leading businesses and organizations. This is the fourth consecutive year that the Observatory has been awarded a Certificate of Merit. The Observatory will continue to make the best use of its unique role and expertise and contribute towards the building of a greener environment.
