2011 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE)

The Hong Kong Observatory has once again been awarded a Certificate of Merit in the Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) Sectoral Awards Scheme (Public Organizations and Utilities Sector). The Sectoral Awards Scheme aims to encourage organizations to adopt green management; to benchmark their commitments towards best practices within their sectors and to acknowledge the efforts of leading businesses and organizations. This is the third year that the Observatory has been awarded a Certificate of Merit for our overall performance towards environmental excellence and our efforts in environmental protection. The Observatory will continue to dedicate to green management.
