The Senior Citizen Home Safety Association (SCHSA) presented the “Outstanding Partnership Award 2014” to the Hong Kong Observatory in the Community Engagement Recognition Ceremony held on 23 May 2015. The Observatory has collaborated with SCHSA to serve the elderly for many years. Besides conducting joint studies on the health impact of weather to the senior citizens, the Observatory also provides regular weather information to the SCHSA for its timely planning on manpower and resources for delivering caring and support services to the elderly in need in response to the changing weather.
