The weather chart of 1 September 1962 during Typhoon Wanda. Wanda necessitated the hoisting of the Hurricane Signal No. 10, wrecking havoc throughout the urban and rural areas. Wanda left over 180 dead or missing and many thousands homeless. Wanda was the worst ever typhoon to strike Hong Kong after World War II.
