A British soldier's souvenir photograph album of the typhoon that struck Hong Kong on 18 September 1906. Despite its short duration, this typhoon brought about severe strong winds and storm surges. It caused the death of more than 10,000 people within two hours and was one of the most calamitous typhoons in Hong Kong after the establishment of the Hong Kong Observatory.
