The Illustrated London News, published on 22 December 1900, with illustrations of typhoon damage (at the lower part) in Hong Kong earlier in November. The fact that this typhoon occurred in November shows that tropical cyclones visit Hong Kong in seasons other than summer, and we should remain vigilant in all seasons.
