Hong Kong Standard Time

      The Hong Kong Observatory is the official timekeeper in Hong Kong. The Observatory maintains Hong Kong Standard Time using a Caesium beam atomic clock with an accuracy of better than 0.01 millionth second a day and by regularly exchanging time information with the Bureau international des poids et mesures (BIPM), the keeper of the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
