Senior Scientific Officer Shares Knowledge of Radiation and Nuclear Emergencies

Information on radiation and nuclear emergencies shared by a Senior Scientific Officer

The Observatory was invited by the Hong Kong Red Cross to conduct an online talk at their Community Resilience Academy on 27 January 2021, covering basic information on radiation and nuclear emergency preparedness and responses. Around 100 members of the public attended the virtual talk, and 90% of respondents considered that it enhanced their knowledge of radiation and emergency responses.
