Friends of the Observatory
To celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Hong Kong Observatory, Friends of the Observatory members and the Observatory staff were invited to participate in the '125th Anniversary Logo Design Competition'. The Champion goes to Miss CHENG Hsi, a Friends of the Observatory member, for her colourful and elegantly shaped design. The champion design after minor modifications has been posted on various Observatory webpages. It will also be attached in emails delivered by Observatory staff and used in outreach activities organized by the Observatory this year, including the Open Day on 15 and 16 March 2008.
The second and third prizes are awarded to Mrs Mirinna NG CHAN Kam-chu and Miss WONG Ying-chi. The winning designs are shown below :
