Under the "Science in the Public Service" Campaign, a series of talks on popular science are organized throughout 2006. Details of talk in September are as follows:

Separately, the Campaign also organizes an essay competition. There is no restriction to the title of entries, but the content shall relate to science and technology and their application in the public service. Deadline for submission is 30 September 2006. Prize-winners may be invited to attend an awards ceremony and a lunch with science experts.
