Under the "Science in the Public Service" Campaign, a series of talks on popular science are organized throughout 2006. Details of talks in August are as follows:

Separately, the Campaign also organizes an essay competition. There is no restriction to the title of entries, but the content shall relate to science and technology and their application in the public service. Deadline for submission is extended to 30 September 2006.
