Under the “Science in the Public Service” Campaign, a series of talks on popular science are organized throughout 2006. The topic of the talk in June is "Bats of Hong Kong". Details are as follows:

Separately, the Campaign also organizes an essay competition. There is no restriction to the title of entries, but the content shall relate to science and technology and their application in the public service. Deadline for submission is 14 July 2006.
