Science in the Public Service

(1) Under the "Science in the Public Service" Campaign, a series of talks on popular science are organized throughout 2007. Details of the talk in July are as follows:

(2) The Hong Kong Observatory will organize a visit to the King's Park Meteorological Station on 28 July. Deadline for registration is 19 July 2007.
(3) The Campaign is also holding a student project competition. The theme is "Climate Change - What can we do?". Through activities including information collection, research and analysis, the competition aims at strengthening students' scientific thinking, critical reasoning and communication skills. Deadline for submission is 31 January 2008. Students are invited to join. Details can be found at
