Introduction:

The HKO e-Bulletin on Educational Resources is published on-line every three months. It covers in layman terms various interesting topics related to weather phenomena and popular science, as well as developments in new science and technology related to the Observatory's service on meteorology, radiation and geophysics. Moreover, there is one article explain the interesting symmetric and asymmetric atmospheric optical phenomenon of "sun dogs". Beautiful "sun dogs" photos of the same evening, taken at different locations of Hong Kong, are  included. Two articles respectively discussed terrible earthquake and the influence of volcanic eruption on climate.
