Observatory's aviation weather service successfully certified with ISO 9001: 2015

The Hong Kong Observatory successfully completed the re-certification audit of the quality management system of the Airport Meteorological Office with the new ISO 9001:2015 standard in September 2017. Since the first certification of the Observatory’s aviation weather services in 2002, the ISO 9001 quality management standard has underwent a number of upgrades and for each and every time the Observatory was able to keep up with the latest management requirements and trends to provide quality aviation weather services which contributes towards safe, regulated and efficient international air navigation.
