Delegates from Virgin Australia visiting the Airport Meteorological Office

Prior to service commencement between Melbourne and Hong Kong, delegates from Virgin Australia visited the Airport Meteorological Office to familiarize themselves with both the weather in the Hong Kong and the aviation meteorological products and services provided by the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO), including the characteristics of low-level windshear and turbulence in Hong Kong, Observatory's effort on significant convection monitoring and forecasting and the AMIDS website dedicated for providing aeronautical meteorological information to aviation users operating in the Hong Kong International Airport.
