City to the Sky

For the third year in a row the Hong Kong International Airport has been named the world's best airport by global air travellers (World's Best Airport Award 2001, 2002 and 2003, Skytrax Research of London). Radio Television Hong Kong has recently produced a series of eight programmes called "City to the Sky" to tell the successful stories of this award-winning airport. The Chinese version of the programmes is being screened on TVB Jade Channel at 7:35 p.m. every Sunday evening. The seventh programme in the series, to be shown on 15 February 2004, will cover the work of the Hong Kong Observatory in the provision of weather services for the airport (see some of the screen shots below).
