Satellite products from the new geostationary weather satellite Himawari-8 of Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) on AMIDS

With the launch and operational use of Himawari-8 to replace its predecessor MTSAT-2, satellite images over the Asia Pacific region in AMIDS are enhanced and are now available at 10-minute intervals compared with hourly intervals previously.
