General weather briefings for the aviation community

Weather briefings were arranged for staff of Jet Aviation and Hong Kong Business Aviation Center (HKBAC) on 3 March 2015 and 5 May 2015 respectively to give them a deeper understanding of the products and services provided by the Airport Meteorological Office of the Hong Kong Observatory. Participants welcomed the arrangements and after the briefings, they became more confident in dealing with weather situations in the coming rain and tropical cyclone seasons which could affect aircraft operations.
