22 November 2024

To facilitate easier access to weather, astronomical and climate-related information by the public, the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) launched a new version of the “MyObservatory” (iOS version 7.8, Android version 5.10) on 21 November. The updated version added the trial version of voice feature support of “Dr. Tin” Chatbot service (Figure 1). Besides texting with “Dr. Tin”, users can also now interact with “Dr. Tin” using voice input on a new interface to obtain the latest weather information in a more convenient and efficient manner.

Meanwhile, users can access the space weather information through the new version of “MyObservatory” mentioned above (Version 5.10 for Huawei users) (Figure 2).
