Electronic version of "Tide Tables for Hong Kong 2024" now available for free download

The electronic version of the “Tide Tables for Hong Kong 2024” produced by the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) is available for free download starting from today (November 15). 

The tide tables list the predicted heights and times of daily high and low waters at 12 locations in Hong Kong, namely Chek Lap Kok (East), Cheung Chau, Ko Lau Wan, Kwai Chung, Ma Wan, Quarry Bay, Shek Pik, Tai Miu Wan, Tai O, Tai Po Kau, Tsim Bei Tsui and Waglan Island.

The bilingual publication also includes information on the phases of the moon. It serves as a useful reference for engineers, shipping companies, wharf and container terminal operators, yachtsmen, fishermen, fishing and water sports enthusiasts.

The full version of the “Tide Tables for Hong Kong 2024” in PDF format is now available on the HKO’s website for browsing and download. Tidal information for Hong Kong in graphical form is also available on the “MyObservatory” mobile app.
