"Cool Met Stuff": Oceans under Climate Change

6 October 2023

Human activity has emitted huge amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, intensifying the greenhouse effect and causing more heat energy to accumulate on Earth. A large portion of the excess energy is absorbed by the oceans, causing the oceans to warm.

In the new episode of "Cool Met Stuff", we will take you into the ocean and explain the impacts of climate change on marine ecosystems.

The video is now available on the "MyObservatory" mobile application and the Observatory's website for your viewing (programme is broadcasted in Cantonese).
