“Cool Met Stuff”: A lifetime of service and passion for weather forecasting | Dr. Cheng Cho-ming retires and Mr. Chan Pak-wai takes up

Having served the Hong Kong Observatory for 34 years, Dr Cheng Cho-ming commenced his pre-retirement leave recently and Mr Chan Pak-wai succeeded him as the Director. In the latest episode of "Cool Met Stuff", Dr Cheng looks back on his unforgettable moments over the years and expresses his gratitude for being able to pursue his lifelong interest in this profession. He shares the biggest challenges and rewards of his work at the Observatory, and reveals that becoming the Director was actually a "fortunate coincidence". Mr Chan shares his feeling as the Director, his outlook on meteorological technology, and even a nickname given to him by his colleagues. Let's hear the stories of the two Directors.
