"Cool Met Stuff" : Severe Thunderstorms

Thunderstorms can bring squalls which are potentially damaging and dangerous. Starting this month (April 2020), the Observatory will enhance the provision of thunderstorm-related information such as incorporating "severe squally thunderstorms" with regard to the situation, to alert the public the potential impact of "intense gusts" and "violent gusts". The latest episode of "Cool Met Stuff" introduces severe thunderstorms.
