"Cool Met Stuff" : Hong Kong Meridian (3): In Search of the Lost Magic Stone

13 December 2019

The Hong Kong meridian was established in the earliest days of Hong Kong for the purpose of providing time services. The meridian mark to the south of the Observatory has been hidden along the hillsides in Wan Chai on the Hong Kong Island for many years.  The surveyors of the Lands Department bring us to search for the South Meridian Mark in this new episode of "Cool Met Stuff".

The video is now available on the "MyObservatory" mobile application and the Observatory's website for your viewing (programme is broadcasted in Cantonese).
