Global Earthquake Information Webpage (Beta Version)

The Hong Kong Observatory launches the beta version of the GIS-based “Global Earthquake Information” webpage today (Tuesday, 17 March) to provide information on earthquakes of magnitude 5.0 or above as recorded by the Hong Kong Observatory. Members of the public can specify the timeframe of interest, earthquake magnitude and distance of the earthquake epicentre from Hong Kong for displaying the information. Viewers are welcome to browse the webpage at:
http://www.weather.gov.hk/gts/equake/quake-info.htm.
