The Hong Kong Observatory winning the recognition as "Manpower Developer" for the 10th consecutive year

The Hong Kong Observatory has always been committed to the nurturing and development of talent. Through active recruitment, encouragement of learning culture, performance management and resources planning, the Observatory provides suitable and effective training to staff, with a view to realising the Observatory's vision, mission and values. The Employees Retraining Board (ERB) regularly assesses the aforementioned work of the Observatory under the "Manpower Developer Award Scheme". In April 2025, it commended the Observatory as a "Manpower Developer" for the tenth year in a row, with validity of two years, to recognise its dedication and achievements.
