Delegation from the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation, Cambodia visited the Observatory

Dr Sinn Chanserey Vutha, the Secretary of State of the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation, Cambodia (SSCA Cambodia) led a delegation of five to visit the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) on 6 January 2025. During the visit, both sides have reviewed the current collaboration in recent years and discussed the plans to strengthen future cooperation on aviation weather services.
The delegation visited the Central Forecasting Office at the HKO Headquarters, as well as the Airport Meteorological Office and Airport Meteorological Garden located at the Hong Kong International Airport. The HKO and the SSCA Cambodia signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Collaboration in aeronautical meteorological science and technologies in 2018. This visit highlighted the strong partnership between the two parties for enhancing regional aviation safety and efficiency.
