Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.
An intense northeast monsoon
is bringing cool
weather to the south China coastal areas. Locally, the minimum temperature recorded at the Observatory was 15.8 degrees this morning, the lowest so far since this autumn.
At 8 a.m., Tropical Storm
In-fa was centred about 440 kilometres southwest of Iwo Jima. It is forecast to move northeast at about 20 kilometres per hour across the western North Pacific, and become an extratropical cyclone

north to northeasterly winds, strong
at times offshore.
