Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A southwesterly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong. Locally, it was sunny in the afternoon. Temperatures over the territory generally rose to around 33 degrees.

Severe Tropical Storm Nakri has weakened into a tropical storm. At 4 p.m., Nakri was centred about 320 kilometres northeast of Shanghai. It is forecast to move north at about 12 kilometres per hour across the Yellow Sea. Meanwhile, Typhoon Halong has intensified into a severe typhoon. At 4 p.m., Halong was centred about 1570 kilometres east of Manila. It is forecast to move northwest slowly in the general direction of the seas east of the Philippines.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly fine apart from isolated showers overnight. It will be hot with a maximum temperature of around 32 degrees. The minimum temperature will be about 28 degrees. Moderate west to southwesterly winds.

Outlook : Sunny periods and a few showers in the following couple of days.
