The Hong Kong Observatory enhanced its “Met on Map” webpage today (23 March 2018) with more weather observations. In addition to various weather and geophysical information, the web portal now features more observations including wind speed and wind direction, air temperature and visibility from airports around the globe. The total number of observing stations has increased by more than 1500, representing a rise of about 30%.

Moreover, the “Regional Weather in Hong Kong” webpage was also enhanced with information on the temperature difference in the past 24 hours, so as to facilitate the public to appreciate the change in temperature over various regions of Hong Kong.

“Met on Map” is available at http://maps.weather.gov.hk/gis-portal/web/
