  • Friday, 29th March 2019

Typhoon Wanda hit Hong Kong in September, 1962. Over 180 people were dead or missing, and more than 70,000 people lost their homes. How did the society face this devastating storm? Through the detailed interpretation by sand painting artist Hoi Chiu, the latest episode of "Cool Met Stuff" takes us back to more than 50 years ago to see how the people at that time reacted to the storm.

The video is now available on the "MyObservatory" mobile application and the Observatory's website for your viewing (programme is broadcasted in Cantonese).
