The Geminid meteor shower is active during the period from early December to mid-December every year. The peak this year is expected to occur at night on 14 December. If you would like to observe this spectacular astronomical phenomenon, you may pay attention to the observation tips and suggested locations in the latest episode of "Cool Met Stuff". It will also explain the cause of meteor showers.
