  • A New Episode of "Cool Met Stuff"

  • Friday, 3rd August 2018

When heavy rain affects Hong Kong, not only would the Observatory consider issuing rainstorms warning signals depending on the rainy condition, it would also work closely with Geotechnical Engineering Office, which is responsible for monitoring slope safety, to consider issuing landslip warnings when situation warrants. The latest episode of "Cool Met Stuff" will explain the criteria for issuing landslip warnings, and how the public should respond when this warning is in force.

The video is now available on the "MyObservatory" mobile application and the Observatory's website for your viewing (programme is broadcasted in Cantonese).
