  • Friday, 6th July 2018

Every early summer, trough of low pressure often appears in southern China, bringing episodes of heavy rain. However, such trough was found "missing" in the early summer this year, leading to the early arrival of very hot spell in May. The latest episode of "Cool Met Stuff" explains why this happened. The video is now available on the "MyObservatory" mobile application and the Observatory's website for your viewing.
